TROPICAL RIVER SOIL, an ideal substrate material for aquariums and terrariums, is made from natural soil. This substrate material reproduces a tropical atmosphere by exposing red soil, proposing a new concept of "cosmetic soil." TROPICAL RIVER SOIL makes the aquarium water mildly acidic, which is beneficial for aquatic plants and fish.

Due to the nature of the base soil, the granular shape of TROPICAL RIVER SOIL stays for a prolonged period, and it also lowers the pH level. However, since the amount of organic matter is not as high as that of ADA Amazonia, plants tend to grow slower in DOOA Tropical river soil.

The Aqua Soil Series, of which TROPICAL RIVER SOIL is a part, decreases the hardness of the water and lowers the pH level to a range that allows most aquatic plants to thrive and consume nutrients comfortably. Aqua Soil granules maintain their shape and density for extended periods underwater, ensuring good circulation of water and oxygen through the substrate.
